How We Work

Whilst we recognise that emergency relief responders learn through many modes of interaction, face-to-face training remains one of the most common accelerators of professional development across the aid sector.


Yet many humanitarian organisations are asked to implement diverse training programmes on top of an already-busy workload or have limited internal access to specialist training expertise.

At Training In Aid we specialise in supporting new or particularly challenging projects in a

From high-level strategy development down to the fine detail of each and every training product, we offer support services at one or more stages in the training management cycle:

Stage 1 - Training Needs Analysis 
We will bring a systematic approach and toolkit to ensure the training focus in your organisation remains the 'best fit' for your stakeholder demands. 

Stage 2 - Training Design
Using our published design formula we will create and plan training packages that fulfill your organisational or systemic needs, as identified in stage 1.   
 
Stage 3 - Training Delivery
Employing a range of participatory methods to empower learners in achieving specified outcomes, we will facilitate the implementation of face-to-face training courses, workshops and simulations.

Stage 4 - Training Evaluation and Reporting 
Our approach to training evaluation is embedded within every previous step of the cycle, ensuring credible data on training effectiveness can be collected and communicated to stakeholders.
